I'm using a much older version of photoshop with our first assignment, 7.0 to be exact. Either I've forgotten what we learned in class or this PC version is somewhat different. I am still able to do the basics, adjust the hue/saturation and level. But when it came down to copy/paste after selecting the subject, it was driving me nuts. I was able to do it, but I had to do it using the "original" layer. Is anyone else using an older PC version? If so, were you able to do it a different way without messing with the original layer?
